Mini Movers (Ballet/Jazz)

Mini Movers is a progressive ballet and jazz class that strengthens technical foundation while introducing students to the structure and pace of choreography-based learning. Dancers work through skill combinations designed to improve memory, coordination, and adaptability—building the ability to pick up movement quickly and retain multi-step sequences with confidence.

In ballet, dancers train at the barre and in center floor, focusing on posture, alignment, and transitional movement. Jazz introduces directional changes, rhythm patterns, and phrasing through dynamic combinations and choreographed movement across the floor.

This level emphasizes proper vocabulary, spatial awareness, and dance etiquette, preparing students for more advanced class structure and stage readiness. Mini Movers will perform both a ballet and jazz routine in the year-end showcase, demonstrating the growth, control, and performance quality gained throughout the season.

Required Shoes: Bloch Canvas Ballet Shoe (Pink)($24) & Jazz Shoe (Tan)($52)
Required Costumes: Ballet costume ($120) and Jazz costume ($120)

*To be considered for a solo, duet, trio, or any specialty group piece, dancers must be actively enrolled in a technical class (such as Ballet/Jazz).
