Little Leapers (Ballet/Jazz)

The Little Leapers class offers a balanced curriculum with 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of jazz. Ballet, the essential dance form, focuses on building strength, flexibility, and coordination through proper alignment and turnout. These techniques help develop grace and discipline, forming a solid foundation for advanced training. Jazz introduces students to high-energy, rhythmic movements, drawing from contemporary music and carious performance styles. Students practice body isolations, stretching, and dynamic choreography that fosters creative expression.

This class provides an age-appropriate blend of technical skill and artistic exploration. Dancers will work on refining their abilities and expanding their repertoire in a supportive and engaging environment. At the end-of-year showcase, the Little Leapers will perform two routines—one ballet and one jazz—to demonstrate their progress and celebrate their achievements.

Required Shoes: Bloch Canvas Ballet Shoe (Pink)($24) & Jazz Shoe (Tan)($52)
Required Costumes: Ballet costume ($120) and Jazz costume ($120)

*To be considered for a solo, duet, trio, or any specialty group piece, dancers must be actively enrolled in a technical class (such as Ballet/Jazz).
