Tiny Tiptoes (Ballet/Tap)

Tiny Tiptoes is a structured ballet and tap combo class designed for independent 2- and 3-year-old dancers. This class introduces basic movement foundations while building listening skills, confidence, and early classroom habits like taking turns, standing in line, and following directions.

In ballet, dancers explore spatial awareness, body direction, and movement vocabulary through circle dances, balance games, and creative play. Lessons focus on concepts like fast and slow, high and low, forward and backward—all presented through fun, imaginative activities that encourage group participation and individual focus.

In tap, dancers begin to connect movement to sound through guided rhythm play, tempo-based games, and repetitive patterns that support timing and coordination. Props such as scarves, wands, and rhythm shakers help reinforce musicality and classroom engagement.

This class uses fun and instructional music—including selections from the Dancely™ program—to support early skill development. Tiny Tiptoes dancers will perform both a ballet and tap routine in the year-end showcase.
